Radar or camera — the decision that matters most
Radar tracks the ball in flight from behind the golfer. It's excellent outdoors and generally cheaper, but it wants several feet of run-up, so a shallow indoor room limits it. Camera systems photograph the ball and club at impact from a few feet away, which is why they dominate indoor builds and small rooms.
If your room is under about 13 feet deep, start with camera. If you'll practise outdoors as much as indoors, radar earns its keep.
Overhead vs side-mounted
Overhead units — Uneekor EYE XO2, ProTee VX, TruGolf APOGEE — keep the floor clear and work for right- and left-handed golfers without moving anything. They need ceiling height and a proper mount.
